People's trust insurance jobs

At all levels, everyone truly cares not only about the health of the company, but also the growth and wellbeing of the employees! Every year the company gets smarter, the communication gets stronger, and the ability to work toward a common goal in unison becomes stronger. When I worked there my manager wasn’t empathetic or experienced enough to be a manager. The passive aggressively put me in an empathy training class because they thought I wasn’t being empathetic to customers during the pandemic. What else do you say to a customer when they ask what the ceo isn’t doing for his customers. They made life miserable for me micromanaging me while I was at home with my kids trying to balance everything. I’m glad I was laid off from this company because it is toxic. Great benefits, good hours, very large staff but not intimidating, roomy cublicles, brand new building with lots of natural lighting, awesome breakrooms, clean bathrooms, elevator, big parking lot, management is professional and friendly. I was initially hired as a full time employee with full benefits. Although i was essentially laid off 5 months into my employment, i was offered a 1099 traveling inspector position. Even though I accepted a full time position with another company, I still appreciate the opportunity i was given at people's trust. I miss my traveling position now, and would love to return to work there. The people I worked with were dishonest and helped me in no way, shape, or form when it came to training (which was expected to happen in two days). Being a dispatcher was the most stressful job i’ve ever done in my life. I literally went home with a headache everyday and had no idea why. They eventually let me go and I can honestly say it was the best decision ever that they could ever do for me. I feel like they have mastered the art of work ethics.. they have managed to take out corporate politics such as popularity contest and the need to brown nose and they have said if you do a great job at your job we will take good care of you. Great perks (cruises, bonuses, 401k matches, PTO, etc.)... I feel like i am treated like a human being instead of just another replaceable staff member. They are also an innovative insurance company trying to rewrite the business in a better way which is very inspirational. They are slow to learn from their mistakes and don't always take to criticism right away but eventually they get it. I do think it is a difficult company to advance in and i don't think it is a good place to try and start out in the insurance industry with no experience.. I believe both of these issues are the result of not mastering the ability to train staff in these diverse positions... but if you come ready made with the experience and you know what you are doing.. you can make a life here where you are happy to come to work every day and you have job security.. Owner and the company are constantly trying to correct decisions that were made when the company first started up. Not much opportunities for advancement within the company. most "promotions" are just lateral moves within the company. I have been in the insurance industry for 30 years. This is my 1st time working with an insurance company. PTIC shares my same core Values: educate the insured, save them money and create retention in order to give the client a peace of mind! This place offers great pay and some but not all of the supervisors have great qualities! The down fall of this company is there is lack of communication from management and supervisors do not know how to manager and lack ownership to errors made in their departments! Favoritism is important so unless you stand out or become popular you will not make it far! There is no drug testing so majority of the employees are on drugs which in my opinion is needed for any position there! Human Resources never responds to you unless she feels its important! (3/4 of the day she is never in her office) I just feel that the pay rate is the only reasonable aspect of this work place and is why people stay otherwise this company would not be so successful! The job it self is easy and the only thing that is hard is the customers. Which is also not hard as long as they allow you to educate them on the product/company if they don't allow you then it is hard.
